So how'd we do? Club President Dennis McGushin welcomes your comments about the 2010 Club. |

It's been a memorable summer for 2010 StC Varsity players Taylor Coughlin, Ben Dvorak, Chad Ellis and Colin Haley.
Their New Wave Lacrosse U19 team wrapped up a successful summer league campaign by taking the title at the Indian Prairie Showdown in Naperville, beating the defending champs Velocity from Ohio. Then, in post-season honors, StC rising senior Colin Haley was named the squad's Most Valuable Player - Midfield.
 New Wave's U15, U17 and U19 fall/winter tryouts are August 29 in Naperville.

StC longpole Will De Bord, a freshman member of the 2010 StC Varsity, was named to the All-Star team at the prestigious Peak 200 Rising Juniors Camp this summer.
Peak 200, in Smithfield, Mass., is a highly regarded recruiting showcase and instructional camp, and players must be nominated by their coaches in order to attend |

We thank the parent volunteers without whose
contributions of time and talent the Club's Annual Banquet
on June 8 just couldn't have taken place.

This July, StC 2010 Varsity defenders Trace Evans (back row
far left) and Pat Killeen (back row far right and inset) hosted the third annual Backyard LAX Camp on the grounds of the Evans family estate in St. Charles.
A total of 10 "campers" attended, including StC younger siblings Trace De Bord (foreground) and Connor Evans (back row, white singlet). |
Trace and Pat somehow
snuck the camp in between
this summer's stifling heat,
the thunder and downpours,
and
the soggy humidity.
"These kids are really good," says Trace. "Most of them have been coming to this camp for
all three summers. They're
better than I was at that age, that's for sure." |
One veteran camper, Connor Jones (back row, green singlet), particularly enjoyed the faceoff instruction he received.
"I already knew how to do some faceoffs," says the rising 7th grader, "but Trace and Pat taught me new moves like the plunger and the laser. It was a lot of fun."
