19 varsity players named to all conference and national teams
Seventeen StC Players have been named to All-Conference teams by the IHSLA and IHSWLA. In addition, two players are headed to Maryland to compete in the Brine National Lacrosse Classic. MORE

D303 Board votes to make Lacrosse a school-sponsored sport
"Lacrosse is considered an emerging sport by the Illinois High School Association. And a recent vote by the St. Charles Unit District 303 school board will help it emerge a little faster.
"The school board voted 6-1 [in August] in favor of adding lacrosse to its roster of boys and girls sports offerings."

A Parents and Player Meeting is set for Tuesday, Sept 9, at 7.00pm for ALL boys and girls players at all levels at both high schools. The meeting is at St Charles East in the Commons. Athletic Directors will be there to discuss plans.

"The District 303 school board’s vote ...to fold boys and girls lacrosse into the athletic departments at St. Charles East and North has energized the sport’s supporters, both locally and statewide.
"The D-303 board voted 6-1 to fund lacrosse at the schools, albeit with a larger participation fee that gradually will drop to be in line with the schools’ other sports."

East beats York East Varsity vs York
Not even a lightning delay on Tuesday could deny StC East Varsity its first state playoff victory, a 9-6 Wednesday win at York.

Girls win first round playoff game
On May 21, StC Girls Varsity continued its playoff push with a 12-11 win over Mother McAuley in a playoffs sectional semiinal. The Girls advanced to the sectional finals against Loyola Academy on May 28, where the defending state champ Ramblers won 19 - 3.

StC North JV trio go 1-2-3 in points
