Like Asst. Varsity Coach Brian Prodoehl, Coach Pete Steele rejoins us after a brief time away.
As a player, Coach Steele was a fixture in the StC goal from 2002 to 2005, earning Honorable Mention All-Conference honors in 2005. He recorded 111 saves that season (4th best in Club history), 17 of which came in the memorable "three-man-down game" against Wheaton Warrenville South. Check out the game video here.
After graduating from St Charles East that May, he joined then-JV Coach Thompson's coaching staff for the 2006 season. Together with fellow JV Assistant Coach Charlie Feuerstein, Coach Steele took a select frosh team to the St. Louis Brothers in Arms Tournament that Spring and brought home the championship trophy.

Columbia College in Chicago and captaining the college lacrosse team in its inaugural season of competition. In his first year of GLL (Great Lakes Lacrosse League) competition, he averaged 18 saves a game and helped lead the team into the second round of the playoffs.
He returned to the Club for the 2008 season, taking over Head Coaching duties for the StC JV. Following that season, he enrolled at Grand Valley State in Michigan, assuming goaltending duties for a very successfull team.
In addition to his passion for lacrosse, Coach Steeleful continues to perform with a number of bands, including Davis Bridge.
