Head Coach Andy Thompson is very excited to announce his 2010 coaching staff, including newcomer Mike Black.
Coach Mike Black is well-known to many StC Lacrosse players and families, having both managed and coached youth leagues and offseason travel teams in the area for many years. He is now affiliated with River City Lacrosse.
Like Coach Andy Thompson. Coach Rob Klemm and Coach Pete Steele, Coach Black is a St Charles High School graduate ('98) and a former StC Lacrosse player. He played college lacrosse at Minnesota State, where he was a two-year captain and a 2nd Team All-American selection.
"Mike has a great rapport with players and parents," says Head Coach Andy Thompson. "Many of the guys on the team have known him since they were playing youth lacrosse. I have no doubt that Mike will fit in great with the program." MORE
Rounding out the staff are five returning Coaches.
Coach Brian Prodoehl returns as an Assistant Varsity Coach. Coach Prodoehl spent the last two seasons as Neuqua Valley’s Varsity Head Coach. Prior to that, he was an Assistant Varsity Coach for StC’s Final Four team in 2007. MORE
Coach Pete Steele returns to the program as well, as the Frosh/Soph Assistant Coach. A former StC goalie and college goalie, for Columbia College and Grand Valley State College, Coach Steele will also work with the Frosh/Soph and JV goalies.
Coach Rob Klemm takes over the Head Coaching duties for the JV Orange team after a very successful run coaching the F/S Orange team last season, and co-coaching the Club's F/S team for one year before that. MORE
Coach Andrew Shad is back for his second season and will be an Assistant Coach for both JV teams.
Finally, Coach Shawn Falzone is back for his second season with the program after a very impressive debut last year as Head Coach of Frosh/Soph Blue, who finished with a 12-4 record. |

Head Coach Andy Thompson is affiliated with Players Indoor in Naperville, a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility featuring 95,000 square feet custom-designed for individual achievement as well as group excellence. Offseason leagues, travel teams, clinics and more for boys and girls from youth to high school.

Coach Mike Black is affiliated with River City Lax, an organization based in and dedicated to the Tri-Cities area. River City Lax provides an exciting and competitive learning enviorment for the beginning, developing and seasoned player.
Spring 2010 travel team tryouts are March 23 and 25.
