2012 marks Coach Thompson's ninth year of coaching St Charles Lacrosse.
 He has led teams to conference and/or tournament championships at the Freshmen, JV and Varsity levels, and has guided StC into the State Final Four four straight years, from 2007-10. (He also led 2011's team to the state quarterfinals.)
Coach Thompson played StC lacrosse from 1995-99, and went on to play lacrosse and football at Elmhurst College.
Coach Thompson is a co-founder and Director of New Wave Lacrosse. He lives in South Elgin with his wife, Mindy, and their daughter, Brooke. |

This is Coach McCaffrey's fourth year with StC Lacrosse, and his third as a member of the Varsity staff.
Coach Mac was instrumental in establishing and nurturing Geneva's boys lacrosse team. As a player, he captained the team its first year, then coached its Frosh and JV teams before walking on at D2 St Leo University.
A back injury there curtailed his college career, and he returned to Geneva to coach the Varsity. He joined StC in 2008.

Teammates in 2011 and friendly rivals in 2012, North's Rich Mix (left) and East's Nate Campana (right) helped Team Illinois reach the playoffs of the Brine All-American National Classic Lacrosse Tournament.
North Varsity Head Coach Andy Thompson also participated in the event, which featured teams from around the country.
Nate was named to the Tournament All-Star Team. |

For the sixth straight year, StC advanced to the Sweet Sixteen of the state playoffs after the North Stars beat Fremd 13-12 at the East Side Complex on May 23.
The North Stars then faced St. Viator on May 25, losing a close one 12-10 to end its playoff run.
In other StC playoff action, the Saints were defeated by Lyons Township in a first-round match, and StC Girls lost to Glenbrook South in a Sectional Final.

STC North Varsity practice is
from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. StC Boys: Wear STC gear only! Your travel or rec team tees, shorts, etc, aren't allowed. |
