Tyler Hines
With his recent graduation from Boot Camp at Great Lakes Naval Station, Tyler Hines (StC '08) now awaits assignment in the US Navy.
Tyler was a three-year Varsity starter at LSM and Defense from 2006 to 2008, and was named 1st Team All Conference in 2007 and 2008 and 2nd Team in '06.
He went on to play defense for the undefeated 2011 Onondaga (NY) Community College national champions (the team's third-straight NJCAA title).
At Great Lakes, Tyler graduated as part of Divison 193, which secured the highest, "Hall of Fame" honors among the graduates.

Former StC Club President Jack Elliott tells us that his son, 1st Lieutenant Jeremy Elliott, USMC, has deployed to Camp Bastion, Helmand Province in Afghanistan.
Jeremy played Attack and Midfield from 2001-2004 for StC, and set several Club single-season and career scoring marks.
He now flies an AH1-W Cobra attack helicopter, and is currently flying top cover and ground support missions for the US Marines.
"We all pray for his safe return later this year," says Jack, who adds that "cookies are always appreciated" by Jeremy and his fellow Marines.

It's not the first time that StC alumni have faced each other in D1 competition, but it may well be the highest-profile such match.
On March 20, when defending Metro Atlantic Athletic (MAAC) champion Siena hosted defending America East runner-up Stony Brook, the starting lineups featured Pat Killeen (StC '10) for Siena and Pat McGushin (StC '11) for Stony Brook.
Last year, StC '10 teammates Taylor Coughlin, Dom Imbordino and Ben Dvorak all faced off in D1 play: Taylor with Mercer, Dom with Ohio State, and Ben with Bellarmine. Ben and Taylor are teammates again, with D1 Marquette.
Let's revist Spring Break moments from the Club's past, shall we? Remember the StC Boys Varsity trip to the Hazelwood (Missouri) tournament in 2004? In addition to former Head Coach Dave Libby (far left), there is at least one (and perhaps two) current members of the StC Coaching Staff, as well as another former member of the StC Coaching Staff, in the group. Can you spot them? Thanks to parent Connie O'Brien for the photo.
Colin Haley (StC '11) in white goes airborne for his 7th goal of the season for D3 Augustana. Colin has 3 assists as well for the 5-1 Vikings, who are led in scoring and assists by another StC grad: Jesse Nagelberg (StC '11), with 16 goals and 5 assists. Andrew Jurewicz (StC '11) has 1 caused turnover and 3 ground balls for the Augies as well.
Alisa Skluzacek (StC '10) scooped up 5 ground balls in Aquinas's recent loss to Centre. The Saints are 1-1 in National Women's Lacrosse League play.

Brian Sullivan (StC '11) has tallied twice for D3 Adrian in its first five games. Brian has converted both shots on goal for the 4-1 Bulldogs, who lead the Midwest Lacrosse Conference.
She was our 2011 Team MVP (as well as a 2nd Team All-American and 1st Team All-Conference pick, Team Captain and Best Midfield Award winner). So it's hardly surprising that Meghan Brady earned MVP plaudits in Robert Morris's recent Fall Ball play. MORE
The 2011 StC Boys Alumni Game took place on Dec. 28 at St Charles Sportsplex, pitting a host of alums against a squad of current StC players. Thanks to Coach Andy Thompson for organizing the event, and to "alum parent" Bob Evans for the group photo.
