Alumni Evans and Chamberlain clash in MCLA Playoffs
Purdue and goalie Blake Chamberlain (StC '09) made program history Monday when it faced defending Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) champs Colorado State and Trace Evans (StC '11). It was the Boilermakers' first-ever appearance in the national playoffs and followed a GRLC (Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference) title.
Trace and CSU advanced with a win, and for senior Blake it caps a lacrosse career that included a GRLC All-Conference mention in 2012 and, for many StC alumni of a certain age, one of the most memorable weekends in Club history.
