StC Golf Outing is Aug 11
Hole-y Cow! The first annual St. Charles Lacrosse Golf Outing Fundraiser Scramble is Monday, Aug 11, at the Royal Fox Golf Club in St. Charles.
Lunch begins at 11.00, the shotgun start is a 1.00pm, and dinner begins at 6.30pm -- and in between, there's 18 holes and three separate contests. You could even win a car -- a 2014 Nissan Altima, donated by our generous friends at Gerald Auto Group -- in the Hole-in-One contest.
There are also plenty of sponsorship opportunities, from signage to holes to goodie bags.
Please download the Golf Outing brochure here, and sign up today! Questions? Please contact Michelle Pye.

Putrid pads? Grungy gloves? O-liminator eliminates odors by attacking them at their source. And for StC families, a two-pack is now available for just $5. A portion of the proceeds from each sale benefits StC Lacrosse.
Unlike deodorizers that simply mask odors, O-liminator is ultra-effective because it absorbs moisture AND inhibits 100% of the bacteria that cause offensive odors.
This season, O-liminator inventor (and former StC Girls Head Coach Peter Bogle) provides O-liminator for sale to StC families at select tryouts, practices and games. The $5 cost for a two-pack is 60% off the retail price! Packs can also be purchased by contacting StC Board member Michelle Pye.

Club fundraising with the Coffe Cake Connection
Christine Welch, CEO of Coffeecake Connection
This season, we again partner with The Coffeecake Connection Company to raise funds to support the Club.
Coffeecake Connection CEO Christine Welch (mother of Tyler 'Cobra' Hines, StC '08) gives the Club a generous portion of the proceeds from every delicious item purchased through this program.
"Although lacrosse has rapidly grown over the past five to ten years, it remains one of the few high school sports in Illinois that does not fall under the Illinois High School Association (IHSA)," says Board member Peggy Williams. "This means we are a self-funded program and the cost of the program is directly passed on to the players and their families. This results in high fees and significant fundraising responsibilities.
"Unfortunately, this burden prevents many students from joining our Lacrosse program," she adds. "And it places even greater stress on household finances during these challenging economic times. We try to maintain a low cost structure, but this is difficult given the fact our operating expenses continue to increase."
Through this program, the Club intends to build on its strong past and help today’s youth be properly prepared for their lives beyond high school. We have had several of our players receive college scholarships, and many have earned All-State, All-Conference, and All-American status.
"We know you will enjoy the products from The Coffeecake Connection Company while at the same time supporting the St. Charles High School Lacrosse Club," says Peggy.
Please go to The Coffeecake Connection Co. StC Lacrosse page to shop. Purchases made via the regular site ARE NOT credited to the Club.
