Asst. Frosh/Soph Coach Rob Klemm, like Head Varsity Coach Thompson and Assistant JV Coach Conner, is a graduate of St Charles High School and a former member of the St Charles Boys Lacrosse Club. He was also a classmate of Head Frosh Coach Brian Hynes.
Born and raised in Connecticut, Coach Klemm moved to St. Charles in 1997 and graduated in 2000. He played three years of lacrosse in Connecticut and a year in St Charles. His year as a player here, under Coach Dave Libby, came after Coach Thompson (class of 1999) and before Coach Conner (class of 2002).
In his high school career, Coach Klemm was a three-year letterman in basketball. He was twice named All-Area and twice named Honorable Mention All Conference, and in his senior year he helped lead St Charles to a 24-6 record and a sectional finals berth.
He received his degree in History/ Secondary Education, with a minor in Spanish, in 2004 from Millikin University, where he also continued his athletic career. His senior year, he was one of three co-captains on a 14-11 squad.
Coach Klemm now teaches history at St Charles East High School, where he also coaches the boys' sophomore basketball team.
