St. Charles North Junior and JV Goalie Mitch Potts was crowned "Mr SCN 2009" in March, at the school's annual tongue-in-cheek "beauty pageant" for male students. Ten participants compete in four categories -- swimwear, formalwear, talent and Q&A -- and are judged by a panel of St Charles North teachers and administrators in front of an auditorium packed with their peers. This year's event took place on March 25.Mitch was one of three contestants with StC Lax ties. Sean Sullivan, the older brother of sophomore attackman Brian Sullivan, earned runner-up honors, and former player Chris Forsell also participated.Congratulations, Mitch. Return to Home page |
