For the second year, the North Stars beat the Saints in the Crosstown Classic (or do you say, Fox River Shootout?).

Leading just 5-3 at halftime of their State Playoff Sectional Semifinal on May 16, the StC Girls pulled away to beat Maine South 11-5.

With the win, StC advances to the state Sweet Sixteen and a Monday, May 20, matchup with Lake Forest. The game is at 7.00pm at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire. MORE

#19 St Charles East Varsity draws #14 Lyons Township in its IHSA first-round playoff matchup on Tuesday, May 21, at Lyons Township. The Saints met LT once this year, in an exhibition.

St Charles East JV hosts Batavia in a first-round JV Playoff game at 5.30pm on Thursday, May 23, at East Side Sports Complex on Field 8.

#9 St Charles North Varsity draws #24 Wheaton North in its IHSA first-round playoff matchup on Tuesday, May 21, at home. The North Stars met Wheaton North once and won 10-2.

St Charles North JV hosts West Chicago in a first-round JV Playoff game at 5.30pm on May 21 at James O'Breen Park on Field 3.

Alumni Evans and Chamberlain clash in MCLA Playoffs

Purdue and goalie Blake Chamberlain (StC '09) made program history Monday when it faced defending Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) champs Colorado State and Trace Evans (StC '11). It was the Boilermakers' first-ever appearance in the national playoffs and followed a GRLC (Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference) title. MORE
