Ho! Ho! Ho! Off We Glowed!
Club walks softly, carries big stick in St Charles parade

Updated Thursday, Dec. 15, at 11.00am

With Club parents Kevin Kinser and Mark Pfeiffer (literally) behind the wheel, the Club participated in the St Charles "Miracle on 64th Street" Electric Holiday Parade on Nov. 26.  The parade officially welcomes Santa to St Charles.

Those merry mechanical masterminds, Messrs Kinser and Pfeiffer, conceived a float that turned more than a few of the several thousand heads along the Main Street route. With the help of a dozen or so players, Coach Andy and several parents, they transformed a truck-borne crane into an illuminated Warrior lacrosse stick. Players in uniform jersey then rode atop the float and walked beside it, and the walkers filled their stick heads with candy and handed it out to parade-watchers.

Thanks to Jim Adkins, Bryan Bodway, Blake Chamberlain, Tyler Chamberlain, Andy Forsell, Chris Forsell, Kyle Kinser, Sean Leary, Mike Perez, Ian Pfeiffer and Jared Spenard, as well as to Katelin Kinser and her friend, Amanda Golembioski, for their help and participation.

Thanks also to Coach Andy and to parents Kathy Kinser, Kevin Leary and Tory Leary.

And thanks, above all, to Kevin Kinser and Mark Pfeiffer, who made it all happen, from planning to parading.
