In the second leg of this home-and-home series, St Charles defeated Naperville Central 12-2 at Madison Junior High in Naperville.
The Redhawks scored the first and last goals of the game, taking a 1-0 lead about three minutes into the game. But between those two scores, StC would net a dozen straight to secure the win.
Thomas Feicco led all StC scorers with four goals and two assists, followed by Vince Frantz's two goals (and a assist) and Cam Caruso's two goals. Tim Dalrymple, Sean Brogan, Zach McCullough and Dylan Ward rounded out the tallies with a single score apiece.
Of those twelve goals, Dylan assisted on five; Thomas helped on two, and Vince, Sean Brogan, Jim Adkins and Bryan Bodway set up one apiece.
StC won the ground-ball battle, too, with 46 to Naperville Central's 32. Tyler Hines scooped up seven to lead the team, and Bryan Bodway had five. Tyler also had two takeaways, second to Vince's four.
In goal, Ian Pfeiffer turned away a dozen shots on net.
