In its second conference game of the season, and of the week, the Varsity defeated the West Chicago Wildcats 19-2.
Thomas Feicco and Tim Dalrymple led St Charles with four goals. Jim Adkins and CJ Nemec added two each, and Dylan Ward, Mike Perez, Vince Frantz, Tyler Chamberlain and Brad Winterberger all scored as well.
LSM Tyler Hines notched his first goal of the season, and defender Matt McCart picked up an assist. Paul DeBord's two assists topped the team's total of eight.
Tyler Hines' all-round effort included five takeaways (to lead the team) and four ground balls. Zach McCullough's seven grounders set the pace for StC, followed by Madden Titus with six, Thomas and CJ with five each, and Tyler and Sean Leary's four.
In goal, Ian Pfeiffer faced 12 shots, including four on net.
After the game, the St Charles players met briefly with Wildcat Coach Dave Libby to thank him for his past service to the St Charles club. Many of our varsity's seniors first began their St Charles Boys Lacrosse careers under Coach Libby, who joined West Chicago last year.
